Other Worlds Book Club In-Person
Are you a fan of stories that take you into the stars or off on a magical adventure? Well, you should give the Library’s Other Worlds Book Club a try! The group meets at 6:30 pm on the fourth Tuesday of each month. We read science fiction titles on odd months and fantasy titles on even months. This month's title is Kindred by Octavia Butler.
Dana, a modern black woman, is celebrating her twenty-sixth birthday with her new husband when she is snatched abruptly from her home and transported to the antebellum South. Rufus, the white son of a plantation owner, is drowning, and Dana has been summoned to save him.
Copies of the book are available at the Circulation Desk for check out. Registration is not required.
